> APS manufactures both steel and aluminium platforms to cater for all kinds of loading requirements and building access constraints. Many of our platforms are designed for the regular maintenance and servicing of cooling towers, manufacturing equipment and private and public infrastructure.

Boiler Access Platform

> APS understands the need for quick boiler access. We have therefore developed and procured systems that are the quickest and safest boiler access systems available, these systems are: Heavy Duty Suspended Access Platforms, Space Frame Suspended Access Platforms.

> Platforms can be used to determine what work is required to be undertaken within on the boiler walls prior to the erection of a scaffold. The platforms can act as a separation / safety platform allowing for parallel work flows within the boiler during the outage. Also can be used to hang smaller suspended platforms.

Fall Protection Systems

Fall Protection Systems

> There are situations where guardrails and passive protection systems aren't a practical or feasible option. In this situation and in accordance with the Hierarchy of Control, APS can engineer, fabricate and install fall protection systems.

> All APS fall protection systems are designed for fall arrest loadings in accordance with AS1891 but designed for use in fall restraint.

> Fall restraint only allows a user to reach a potential fall edge but not to go beyond it. This setup is achieved by limiting lanyard lengths which restricts access. It should be noted that this form of access requires training and higher levels of supervision than passive systems such as guardrails, walkways and platforms.

• Horizontal and Vertical Static Lines Systems
• Monorails
Need to be inspected, tested and re certified on an annual basis by a competent person.

> APS is able to reduce your risk exposure in this area and enable you to meet your height access requirement, by providing annual and long term service contracts for the ongoing inspection, testing and certification of your height access systems and equipment.

> As part of this service we also audit your building or plant for any changes in the building conditions and inform you of any changes in your OH&S requirements.
